The learning behind it.
Students meet Shakespeare as living theatre rather than a set text. Workshops led by professional theatre practitioners take a scene from page to stage, and the group devises and performs its own piece before the stay ends. A gamified walking hunt, a STEAM challenge and time on the river make it as much about the group as the play.
What students take away
- Close reading of a text through performance
- Confidence speaking and performing in front of peers
- Tudor and Jacobean context in the town Shakespeare knew
- Teamwork and creative problem-solving

Every journey is designed around your brief. Length, activities and accommodation change with your group.
Every group devises and performs its own short piece, then writes a letter to their future self about what the trip changed.
