The learning behind it.
Sarajevo and Herzegovina tell a story of empires, faiths and recent war. Students explore Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian Sarajevo, the siege and its memory, and Mostar's rebuilt Old Bridge as a symbol of reconciliation, alongside mosques, churches and a synagogue that have stood side by side for centuries. A longer version adds highland villages, Travnik, Jajce and the Kravice waterfalls.
