Who are we?
Peter Milne is a Freelance Environmental Education Trainer, with 20 years teaching experience, especially within environmental, science and outdoor education.
Based in Dubai for the last 7 years, Pete has travelled extensively and has also worked in UK, Australia and Malaysia. Throughout his time as a teacher, Pete coordinated Environmental Education and Residential trip Programmes. His role as EE Coordinator at Raffles World Academy was a pioneering one in the region and in April 2012, the school achieved the Eco-Schools International Award of Green Flag, one of only five schools to achieve this prestigious award in the Middle East.
In 2009, Pete was Educational Advisor for Adrian Hayes’ record breaking Greenland Quest Expedition, which was used to raise awareness on economic, social and environmental sustainability.
Currently, Pete runs school and corporate environmental training workshops and writes environmental education programmes to further enhance EE opportunities for students in UAE.
Fei Chin Kaw has a passion for travel. She was born and brought up in Malaysia, moved to Singapore in her 20’s, then on to Dubai, where she set up her travel management business. She originally envisioned it as a job to bring happiness to her clients. As time passed, this vision has evolved into bringing the real world into her clients’ lives. For her, this is a dream come true, her passion is now her work.
She has travelled to most of Asia and the Middle East, major parts of Europe and Africa. She loves to interact and make contact with the locals wherever she is. With her language skills, she has managed to discover many of the world’s hidden paths.
She always checks out the specialities of each destination before putting them together as a tour package. Her expertise includes diving, golfing and sporting related travel, catering for serious divers, golfers and sportsmen. She particularly loves good food and regards it as a big part of life. For her, one of the greatest joys of life is to taste great food and then walk it off, leaving her foot prints all over the world!
Matt Farr is a professional mountaineer and our Nepal specialist. He has been trekking, rock climbing and mountaineering since moving to Dubai in January 2007. He has climbed and trekked in Nepal (including Everest Base Camp and an ascent of Mera Peak) and goes ice climbing in Scotland on an annual basis. He has recently returned from a mountaineering trip in the Alps, summiting 7 peaks within a 13 day period.
In a previous life Matt worked in finance, trading fixed income at a leading U.A.E. institution after beginning his Career in London. He graduated from the University of Nottingham in the U.K. with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with Management Studies.
Matt’s ultimate goal in life is to successfully summit K2 in Pakistan, and then come back again in one piece.
